The Story of Dido and Gulalai
Once upon a time, in a beautiful village nestled among green hills, lived a young man named Dido. He was brave, kind, and beloved by everyone in the village. Every morning, Dido would go to the foothills to tend his chickens and sing softly to the wind.
In the same village lived a girl named Gulalai. She was as delicate as a flower and known for her beauty and kindness. One day, Gulalai went to the hills to collect herbs for her father and saw Dido there. Dido smiled at her, and from that moment, something special sparked between them.
Days passed, and their feelings for each other grew stronger. But Gulalai’s father had other plans—he wanted her to marry a wealthy man from the city. He didn’t approve of Dido, who was poor but honest.
Dido, determined not to lose his love, went to the village elders and shared his pure intentions. The elders were moved by Dido’s sincerity and spoke to Gulalai’s father, saying, “True love is rare. Wealth may fade, but genuine love lasts forever.”
Eventually, Gulalai’s father agreed. Dido and Gulalai were married, and their love grew deeper with every passing day. They lived a life full of respect, loyalty, and happiness—a life built on the foundation of true love.
